Risk Principles in Practice - Everyone's a Risk Manager
NSW public sector delivers a wide range of services to the community of NSW. The State Government recognises that sound risk management practice, by individual agencies and at a whole of sector level, supports transparent and systematic decision making. By managing risk, the public sector maximises its ability to meet its objectives and deliver its services effectively and efficiently.
The course will offer participants with an overview of risk management principles aligned to the risk management standard (ISO 31000) and the NSW Internal Audit and Risk Management Policy (TPP15:03).
Participants will benefit from a greater understanding on how to align risk management to the business planning and improvement cycle, apply risk management processes to a public sector case study as well as use tools/ services to enhance workplace risk, health and safety performance.
The course is intended for people who would benefit from developing a background in risk management. Participants do not need to be risk practitioners.
This is a fully funded course sponsored by icare self insurance and places are strictly limited. If you wish to accept a funded position please email firstname.lastname@example.org . For more information around the course visit the TMF Seminars page.
