The successful operation of icare tmf (Treasury Managed Fund) relies on best practice claims management knowledge, skills, and services to:

  • Manage disputed and litigated claims
  • Issue policies and premium notices
  • Ensure premiums are paid
  • Help agencies understand their deposit premiums and reports
  • Help agencies develop their claims management systems, processes, and skills
  • Provide proactive risk management advice and support
The claims management service providers manage three workers compensation portfolios, one health liability portfolio, and one general portfolio (including non-health liability, property, motor vehicle, and miscellaneous risk).
The claims management service providers for the current contract period are:
Allianz Australia Insurance Limited — Workers Compensation No.1 (includes Education and Training; Services, Technology, and Administration; Communities; Treasury; and Industry and Investment)
Employers Mutual Limited — Workers Compensation No. 2 (includes 50% Health (Southern); Police and Emergency Services; Planning; and Premier and Cabinet)
QBE Australia — Workers Compensation No. 3 (includes 50% Health (Northern); Human Services; Justice and Attorney General; Environment, Climate Change, and Water; and Transport and Infrastructure)
GIO General Limited — Health Liability and General Liability
